Flux Capacitor Overdrive

So Dusty, that's the name I came up with today on my ride for your music thing. It is so multi-dimensional and sweettastic. It has a couple of the same letters of the Dulby thing, but I think it varies it up enough that you don't have to worry about an legalities.

Another one would be Grandma's Mustache, but than you would have to play Bluegrass.

So on to my ride, it was a long one. On the road. Once again started in Lyons, which I guess is my epic ride HQ. We'll do a play by play:

4 minutes in.
Pretty Roads:

1.5 hours in.
Pretty comfy, riding with no hands, breaking a little sweat.

Still pretty roads.

Starting to get high.

Mmm. the snow was delicious.
So is whatever is on my pointy tooth.
The Yeti was right at home in her natural habitat.

Yet a little higher.

On the way down. Turns out I was a little under dressed for 12,105 ft, so I didn't get any photos from the top.

Turns out a 20 mile, 4,500 ft descent gives you some pretty sweet helmet hair.
Thank goodness I just wrote that post the other day, because luckily at mile 86.64, and 7 hours and 16 minutes into my ride, on a very uninhabited stretch of mountain road, after I had ZERO energy left, had eaten all my food,
I found a store with a Mountain Dew machine!!
YES!

It got me through the next hour and 20 miles very nicely.

Total Ride stats below:
Looks like I burnt 7,941 calories.
Looks like that means Burger and a Beer at the Mountain Sun tomorrow!!

For those wondering the local, started in Lyons, at around 5,500 ft, thru Estes Park, and to the top of Rocky Mountain National Park at around 12,105 ft. I think it is the highest continuously paved road, or something or other, in the U.S.
Which BTW, it cost me 10 f-in bucks to get in to the National Park on my bike!!
Hello, 20 bucks for a car, 10 for a bike, No Bueno!!
