Just in time to go on the planned Slot Canyon trip to Southern Utah. When I originally sent the feeler email out… I expected one car full, maybe two. What went down was one hell of a time in the desert, with as many as 15 people at one point.
Group Shot. minus Mike, Jamie and Anna.
Canyons, buttes, and mountains.
We went on a pretty fun hike, down Baptist Canyon, and up Chute. A majority of our group had never got a taste of the slot thing, and the hikes dished out plenty of scrambling, a few rappels, and some fun times.
The next day, we hiked the lower Muddy River Gorge. Needless to say, it was gorgeous. A pretty mellow hike for the group, but still, much fun was had.

Most of the group made the drive back home that night, with the core group of 5 staying. Somehow, even after the large contingent of ‘The Family that likes to Dance’ left, a dance party of enormous proportions went down. Enormous proportions.
Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?
With one more hike left, the 5 of us embarked on Lower Eardly Canyon on Monday. It is a canyon that I have always wanted to do, so was highly looking forward to it. After the arduous slog up, and then down into the canyon, we were experienced with a technical, fun, cold trip through the canyon. We were right on the shoulder season for hiking this canyon, and some of us were lacking the recommended wet suits, and despite some shivering, made it out alive, and no worse for the wear.

Stay tuned for the soon-to-be-published version of my voyage northward to Alaska... which is where I am at this very moment.

3 facts, opinions, or explanations:
did those white shorts restrict blood flow to your package?
Russ, It was a delicate operation to get those on... blood flow was maintained at all times.
The fifth to last photo is frakkin great Neil.
p.s. my word verification word is "terdica", which is probably one of Ana's nicknames.
