August... and everything Thereafter.

So, the season is coming down to a close. Almost everything here in Denali closes next week sometime. The coffee shop closes on the 15th, and my new second job as a jeep safari guide ends the same day. I picked up that second job to close out the season, and have decided two full time jobs is a little much. Just a little.

So, without rambling on too much, here is what's gone on in the last month, in picture form.

Seward is Sa-weeeet.

My first AK breakfast burrito, WAY GOOD, courtesy of the Smoke Pit in Seward, which happens to be in an old train car.

Exit Glacier, Seward
Seward, from the other side of the bay.
Mt. Alice trail.

The Alaskan Mountain Range. Denali is the one in the clouds.
The view from one of my after work walks, only about 15 minutes from my cabin door.:
And Denali from the air.
The scenery from a heli flight:

The West Fork of the Susitna Glacier.I totally skipped a rock on that glacial pool.

Glacial jumping.

The beautiful Mt Deborah.
The colors starting to change.
