From the AK to the UT

Needless to say, I've been slacking. A little.

About two months ago, I was in Alaska, working behind this bad boy slinging coffee:

And every once in a while (2-3 times a week) I would get this thing:
That is a picture of a couple seals, a rod and reel, a ships keel, and an electric eel dollar origami. Yep, the Real Deal. all courtesy of one of my coworkers.

I worked at this joint:
At the end of the season, I shaved a mustache:

I also picked up a second job guiding the Backcountry Jeep Safari:
If you squint hard enough, you can see Denali in the background.

And then, I drove home.
This is the bridge in Teslin, Yukon Territory, Canada:

This black bear wanted to eat my bike tires.

This is the pimpin ride that my friend and I drove:

A few sites from the Cassiar Highway:

And then a few shots from Jasper and Banff National Parks:

Yeah, it was quite a drive! I think right around 3200 miles, maybe. Way pretty. Great weather, and since that car got, like, a billion miles to the gallon, relatively cheap.
